PuLalthanhwala  is five time CM of Mizoram which is one of the most greenish and valuable state of India. He is often referred as five time CM which is a hard earned appreciation. He said on Tuesday that people of north east often receive step-mother treatment even in India. He further said that he himself had to face racism many a times in various parts of India. He said that, that is why regionalism and secessionism is very high in north east India; justifying the Nuton theory that ‘every action has equal and opposite reaction’. To add to worse it happens among politician as well as he pointed out. This is obviously a hurdle for the unity and overall growth of the India.

PM Narendra Modi is trying to bring ‘Good Governance’ into effect in India ever since he became Prime Minister. The primary goal of ‘Good Governance’ is optimum utilization of resources. For this, government has already advanced the date of the union budget.  Now he is pitching for advancing financial year to JAN-DEC. At present the financial year is APR-MAR. Globally also calendar year is followed as financial year. He has urged states to come forward with their suggestions and implications. PM also requested states to seriously consider the governance issues that are holding back speedier development. He further requested to speed up capital expenditure and infrastructure creation to lift the growth of the country.

On 13 April, 2017, Consumer affair minister Ram Vilas Paswan Increased his efforts to protect the right of the food consumer in India. Minister Paswan said that government would ask restaurants and hotels to specify the portion size of a meal  to enable customers to place right amount of order at the counter or to the serving staff. There is one more intention behind this move. Government intends to check Food wastage at hotels and restaurants. He further said government has no intention to bring law regarding this. Government will encourage Hotels and Restaurants to take voluntary steps.
